Quarantine

Quarantining and removing:
It disables the program until you decide to delete it completely or restore it.

1 Click Spy Clean "cleans" your computer looking for evidence of these programs, reports its findings, and lets you decide whether to quarantine and remove the program or keep it.

Quarantine information at the time of installation:
Installing the new version over the old one retains the quarantine information from previous sweeps and lets you automatically retain your 1 Click Spy Clean settings.

1 Click Spy Clean looks for spyware installed on your computer and removes it. Initially, it quarantines the spyware, making it inoperable, but permitting you to restore it if you find you need it to continue using another program.

Deselect any spyware that you want to keep:
By default, 1 Click Spy Clean selects all of the listed spyware, which means 1 Click Spy Clean will remove the spyware programs and put them in the quarantine folder. You can restore spyware from the quarantin0e folder if you find that a program you need will not work properly after removing an associated spyware program.

The remove and quarantine process:
It copies the spyware traces to a quarantine folder. 1 Click Spy Clean first encrypts each trace, removes it from its original location (so it will no longer run), then copies it. This process can take several minutes or longer depending on how many traces 1 Click Spy Clean found and the speed of your computer.
