Frequently Asked Questions - NoTrax

  1. After I shut NoTrax down and go back on line, the history of the previous browser session is still there. What's going on?
You are looking at a previous browsing session where another Web Browser was used e.g. IE or Netscape. NoTrax erases the History completely.

  2. Does NoTrax hide my IP Address?
No, however NoTrax allows you to use IP hiding software to proxy through.

  3. I have found that some sites fail to display certain Graphics etc. How come?
This could be due to those Graphics etc. using Javascript. NoTrax does not run Javascript. This is for your own protection as Spyware, JavaScript and ActiveX applications can run in the background gathering information on what you are doing on your computer. They can then upload that information to an Internet Server.

  4. When I click the 'Erase Cache' button, the cache seems to get erased so quickly. Can it really be doing a proper job?
Yes, the cache is erased in super fast time. Also remember: the cache is erased as you browse the Internet i.e. automatically as you surf and also on exiting the NoTrax browser.
