How to use Girder

1. Starting Girder for the first time
   
   If you take the default options during installation, Girder will be started automatically. If not, start it from the desktop icon or the start menu.
   
   
2. Configuring Girder
   
   Bring up the Settings dialog (File menu or toolbar button) and click the Generic settings group and then the General tab.
   
   
3. Using the Add Remote Wizard
   
   Click on Add Remote in the Actions task box and press Next to step the wizard on to the list of supported remotes. If you have an internet connection, click Online Update to ensure the list is up to date. Highlight your remote in the list.
   
   
4. Adding an Application
   
   Start the program you want to control and then click on Add Definition for Running Application in the Actions task box.
