Change WMA metadata/WMA tags

  1. Run Music Tag Editor.
  2. Add necessary WMA files to the Selection List (in which you want to change the WMA metadata/tags).
  3. Mark necessary items in the Selection List.
    Hint: you can use the standard Windows keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+A, Shift or Ctrl with mouse click.

    Hint: you can use a mode "Change all items" also; changes will be applied to all items if this mode is used.
  4. After marking items in the Selection List, you can change WMA metadata/tags for selected files. Enter your text into a input field for the necessary WMA metadata/tags.
    Hint: the Selection List instantly shows the virtual image of tag changes.
  5. To save the changes to WMA files you should click on the "Save" button.

  1. How I can edit tag for multiple MP3 files?
    1. Run Music Tag Editor and add necessary MP3 files to the Selection List
    2. Mark multiple MP3 files in the Selection List.
    3. You can use the button "Select All" and button's drop-down menu if you want to edit all MP3 files on the Selection List. You can use a mode "Change All Items" also.
    4. After marking MP3 files in the Selection List, you can edit MP3 tags for these multiple files. Enter your text into an input field for the necessary MP3 tag. The entered text will be applied to all selected files.
    5. You should click on the "Save" button for save the changes to multiple MP3 files.


  2. How can I create M3U playlist with my MP3 files?
    1. Run Music Tag Editor.
    2. Add necessary MP3 files to the Selection List (these files will be added to M3U playlist).
    3. Mark necessary items in the Selection List.

      Hint: you can use the standard Windows keyboard shortcuts: Ctrl+A, Shift or Ctrl with mouse click.

      Hint: you can use a mode "Change all items" also; changes will be applied to all items if this mode is used.
    4. After marking items in the Selection List, you can create M3U playlist for selected files. You should input M3U playlist name and change playlist parameters if it is necessary.

      Hint: you can use Templates if you want to create a name of playlist (or path) automatically.
    5. To create M3U playlist you should click on the "Generate!" button.


  3. How can I add my MP3 files to the program?
    1. Run Music Tag Editor.
    2. You should add your MP3 files to the Selection List if you want to change these files:
    3. There are several ways to add MP3 files to the Selection List. Method #1: adding the contents of a folder.
      Select the necessary folder files from which you want to add to the Selection List and press the button "Add all files"
    4. Method 2: adding separate MP3 files. Mark the necessary files and press the button "Add for editing..."
