Frequently Asked Questions - Super WMA Cutter Joiner

  1. How to set the start-time/end-time for my file?
There are 2 methods to set start-time/end-time:
A: Visually define the time by using slider bar. Single-click on the file to select it, then drag start-time bar/end-time bar. Click findtune button to adopt the time in second.
B: Set times by pre-listen that song. Single-click on the file to select it, click "Play" button to play it, click "Set start-time" button to change start-time, click "Set end-time" button to change end-time.

  2. How to fine-tune the start-time/end-time in second?
To fine-tune the start-time/end-time in second, just click the button beside "start-time bar" and "end-time bar". Please notice that start-time must be smaller than end-time.

  3. How to pre-listen my cutted file?
In Super WMA Cutter Joiner, there is a small audio player. You can listen your original file from begin to end, or pre-listen your cutted file from the start-time to end-time you have set for this file. To listen the file rum begins to end, please uncheck "Pre-listen". To pre-listen the file from start-time to end-time, please check "Pre-listen".

  4. I have multiple files to cut, could I do that in one time?
Yes, you can do that with Super WMA Cutter Joiner. Select one file and then set begin time/end time for it, the change will be showed on file list. Set the start-time/end-time for every file you want to change, click "Cut" button, then those files will be cut one by one.

  5. I want to edit my created files' name, could Super WMA Cutter Joiner do that?
Yes, you can edit the name in Super WMA Cutter Joiner. For cutting, please double-click on the file you want to edit, and then write your file name. For margin, write your file name in save dialog.

  6. When I create MP3/OGG file, an error "Don't support this MP3/OGG format, please reset." appear, why?
It is because you have set high frequency and low bitrate or have set low frequency and high bitrate. I mean, 48000 Hz frequency will not accept 8Kbps bitrate, please lower the frequency or high the bitrate such as set frequency to 48KHz and bitrate to 128Kbps or set frequency to 8KHz and bitrate to 32Kbps.

  7. How to get smaller files?
To create small file, please lower the parameters. But the lower the parameters, the lower the quality of your created file, though the smaller the file. In other words, the higher the parameters, the higher the quality of your created file, but the larger the file. Please increase/decrease frequency and bitrate accordingly. I mean, 48000 Hz frequency will not accept 8Kbps bitrate, please lower the frequency or high the bitrate and so on.
