Cubology 1.08 - User Guide and FAQ

Screenshots - More Details

Arcade mode

Sort the colored mineral cubes into groups of three or more so that they can be teleported back to earth. Bonuses will be given for larger groupings to encourage economic use of the transport system.

Be careful not to allow too many cubes to stack up, or the sorting arena will become unstable. When this occurs you will have just seconds to relieve the strain on the platform's four engines before it gives way completely.

Puzzle mode

Unfortunately, before 'I-ZAC' (the sorting robot) was diagnosed as malfunctioning he had time to mix up some strange combinations of cubes.
As mineral cubes must not go to waste, player needs to sort out these combinations, teleporting all mineral, gem and crystal back to earth.

    • From the 'Control Panel', double click on 'Display'. On the dialog that pops up, click the 'Settings' tab, then the 'Advanced' button. On the dialog box that pops up, click the Adapter tab. Your graphics card and it's available RAM will appear in the 'Adapter Information' section. Close these dialogs.

    • From the 'Control Panel', double click the 'DirectX' option. In the dialog box that pops up, click the 'DirectX' tab. Your version of DirectX is displayed in the 'Version Information' section. Close this dialog.

If the 'DirectX' option does not appear in the 'Control Panel' it is possible you do not have DirectX installed.

  2. What is DirectX and where can I get it?
DirectX is the part of Windows which allow our games to 'talk' to your graphics and sound hardware. Microsoft release a new version of DirectX around once per year. Our games are compatible with version 8 or above. Upgrading and installing DirectX is easy and free. The latest version of DirectX is available directly from Microsoft.
