Frequently Asked Questions - 4 Aces Texas Holdem Pro Analyzer

  1. What is the level of play in the poker games?

The games are intended to simulate typical poker games in Las Vegas casinos. You may vary settings to make the games simulate looser "family" games or very tight games.

  2. Can I vary how the individual players act?

Yes. There are many settings for each player that control valuations of hands, tightness of play, and so on. You can vary how the players act by changing these settings.

  3. Is there a way to test hands in situations I set up?

Yes, "AutoDeal" features will repeatedly deal hands and provide resultant statistics. You can rig the game to create situations you want to test.

  4. Are there any reports on how I played?

Yes, there are several different report screens that provide statistics and results for your play and that of the computer players.

  5. Do I have to set up my players every time?

No. You can save your settings in a file and reload it when you start the game.

  6. What is a Poker Compiler?

The Poker Compiler is a program that controls the players' actions by means of scripts instead of settings. The scripts are written in the Poker Language, a simple language with about 30 programming words, such as "if...then...else," and about 200 words derived from poker, such as "hasfullhouse." The Poker Language scripts may be simple or complex; and they afford a degree of control over the actions of the players that is not possible in other poker programs. Sample scripts are included.
