Software Description:
Asteroid Miner is a space-based strategy/shooter where you must mine the asteroids around you for precious metals to sell, in order to upgrade your ship with the latest weapons and equipment. To complete a level you need to earn a fixed amount of money, either from mining or bounty from destroying rival miners.

Working against you is a small fleet of Rival mining ships equipped with a variety of weapons. You can mind your own business and mine the asteroids for money, or actively seek out the opposition and hunt them down for bounty payments.

A variety of different planets to refuel and trade at
Six different precious (and not so precious) minerals to mine
Variety of different enemy ships each with differing strengths speeds and weapons
A range of weapons from the humble laser up to guided missiles which lock on to enemy ships and fly around asteroids
Limited fuel (dock at any planet to refuel)
Minefields with proximity based charges
Stars (even binary systems) with gravity
Radar system to spot planets and enemy ships
Planetary shield systems to safeguard docked craft
Auto-repairing shield systems
Multiplayer mode for up to 8 players to fight a death match amongst the asteroids

The effects of sound and picture are OK, the speed of operate is very smooth. The move manner of your ship is a little surprising, and do you have wit enough for steering it?
