Editing animation properties?

If you decide that current animation properties need to be changed you can edit them by selecting Edit -> Animation properties menu item. This will display dialog window where you can set animation source image, frame size and number of frames per second.

Selecting different source image will most likely render your sequences meaningless. For example: if your sequence was zooming in on somebody's face (original source image) now it may be zooming in on a street sign which happens to be at the same coordinates in new source image.

The only really good reason for changing source image is if you modified the original image, for example changed brightness, and saved it as a new file. This new file can be safely used as a replacement source image, because - except for brightness - it is identical with original and all sequences will look the same as before.

In similar way your animation will be affected by changing frame size. What was in the centre of frame will be moved sideways. If you increase frame size and your sequences are positioned close to source image border, you may run out of image data - your new frame may extend outside image area.

The safest property to change is the number of frames per second, as the only thing it affects is the length and speed of your video clip.
