Importing Images from Files

If you have a graphics that you want to use as a cursor, you can import it by following the steps below:
  • Create a new cursor
  • ChooseImport Image from the Tools menu or press Ctrl+K .
  • Use the dialog that appears to locate and select the file you want to import
  • In the Import Image window select the area of the image you want to use as a cursor (you can select the entire image by clicking the Select All button)
  • If necessary, specify the transparent color by clicking the Transparency button, picking the color and marking the Transparent checkbox
  • Click OK


Adding an Empty Frame to the Animated Cursor

To add an empty frame to the current animated cursor, do one of the following:
  • Choose Insert New Frame(s) from the Tools menu
  • Right-click within the Frame Bar and choose Insert New Frame(s) from the context menu that appears.
  • Click the New Frame button on the Cursor toolbar, or
  • Press Ctrl+I


Converting Animated Cursors to Animated GIF Files

To convert an animated cursor to the animated GIF image, follow the steps below:
  • Choose Save as from the File menu
  • In the Save File dialog that appears, choose the Animated GIF file type
  • Locate and select (or create) the folder to save the file to
  • Specify the name for the new GIF file in the File Name box
  • Click Save.
