How to make shadowed text?

You can make shadowed text using the following procedure:
  1. Click the Text button and enter some text.
  2. Highlight the text, and press Ctrl-C to copy it.
  3. Click the Text button again and press Ctrl-V to paste your text into the second text box.
  4. Format the text in both boxes so it looks good. A large font size with bolding might work better for shadowed text.
  5. On one of the text boxes, change the text color to gray by clicking on the text color setting (small black square) that appears on the toolbar underneath selected text. Note: the text must be highlighted in order for you to change its color.
  6. Position the gray "shadow" text underneath the other text slightly offset at a 45 degree angle. Right-click on the text and select "Send to Back" if necessary.
  7. That's it!

Frequently Asked Questions - Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker

  1. Can I print a label directly onto a CD?
Yes you can. You'll need a printer that supports this, though.

  2. How can I print the inside jewel case cover without printing the front cover first?
Leave the front blank and when you print front/inside, only the inside will print.

  3. Part of my label is missing when I print!
In Acoustica CD/DVD Label Maker, click on the Print button and then the Properties button. These are the settings for your printer. Try lowering the print quality to "draft" or "fast" mode. If this fixes the problem and you don't like the quality of the print, you can try an intermediate quality mode.

  4. I can't print direct to CD with my Canon printer!
First, open up CD/DVD Label Maker and click on the Print button. Check that "Disk Tray" is selected. There may be a catch with some Canon printers, however. The Canon drivers won't list the Disc Tray as an available paper bin until you've clicked the Properties button on the Print dialog and changed the Media Type to one of the Printable Disc options. Once you've done that, the Canon drivers will list the Disc Tray among the paper bin options -- in fact, it'll be the only option -- and you should be able to print.

  5. I get an error message about a missing Imagetools.dll file!
The Imagetools.dll file may lost, Try downloading and installing a fresh copy of the program.
