How do I create a 10-foot banner?

This is quite simple, either you start with a 10-foot canvas and add whatever you wish on it or you create a scaled down version and resize it latter. It makes more sense to work with a scaled version as it is easier to see what you are doing. Then simply print the poster and join all the pages together using the border overlap.

Whatever color I select it is always black. Why?

This is a common problem; you must ensure that the brightness is not right at the top.
Otherwise whatever color you select will be too dark.
Move the slider down a bit to get a lighter color that will not appear black.

How can I check for updates?

Simply go to the menu option 'Help->Check for update online.' And the system will take you to the web site and inform you if there is a newer version of your software.

I cannot save a multiple page GIF file why?

Multiple GIF pages can only be 256 colors or less, if you are trying to save it as 'true color' then the system will not allow you to save the file. Simply change the 'Bpp' from 24 to 8. See the help file on how to change the Color Depth.

My GIF files are MUCH larger than they should be, why?

Most GIF have a Bit Depth of 4, if you try to save the image in true color you will see that the image is a lot larger than it needs to be.
Drop the depth of the image and the file will be a lot smaller.
Note that because you will drop the Bpp you will loose some colors, so experiment first to make sure that you are happy with the new Bit Depth.
