How to Create a Panoramic Image with Pos Panorama Pro?

Pos Panorama Pro enables you to create great panoramic images easily and with few mouse clicks! Creating the panoramic images is fun and uncomplicated. It has two major stages:

Stage A: Taking the photos
Each panoramic image is made of a set of two or more consecutive photos. To get good results for the landscape/horizontal panoramic image use your camera to take the set of photos continuously from left to right or from right to left and for portrait/vertical panoramic image from top to bottom or vice versa. Each two adjacent photos must overlap (about 20% - 30% overlap is good). When taking a set of photos to create a panoramic view your camera settings (Zoom, Focus, etc.,) must be the same for the entire set.

Stage B: Creating the Panoramic Image
After taking the photos and downloading them from your camera to your computer run Pos Panorama Pro. The Pos Panorama Creator wizard normally comes out automatically when the software opens (If it doesn't click on the New button to open it). When the wizard screen opens simply follow these steps:
  1. Select the Panorama Image Orientation - Landscape (Horizontal) or Portrait (Vertical). Selecting image orientation will take you to the Select Photos screen.
  2. On the Select Photos screen use the "select photos" button to choose the desired photo set to be combined to create the panoramic image. You may add images by using the "select photos" button and remove images by using the "erase photos" button. Click next to continue when finishing to select the photo set. The photos order doesn't matter; the wizard will automatically arrange them correctly in the next step.
  3. The wizard will now arrange your photos in the correct order (the process may take a few seconds). When the arrangement process is complete you'll be lead to the setting screen.
  4. On the setting screen please follow these instructions:
    * when first creating the panoramic image the best option is to leave the defaults in place.
    * If you've already tried to create this image before and are not satisfied with the results change the settings as follows:
    • If you see "Ghosts" on the panoramic image increase the combine transition level to 'sharper' (move the combine transition radio box check to the right).
    • If you see intense color transitions (usually in the sky area) on the panoramic image decrease the combine transition level to be more gradual (move the combine transition radio box check to the left).
    • If the combination of the photo set creating the panorama image is not accurate increase the quality level (move the quality radio box check to the left). Increasing the quality will slow down the creation process.
    • After trying steps a, b and c if the results are still not to your liking try another combine mode from the combine mode drop down list.
  5. Click next to continue and finish the process. The wizard will now create your panoramic image. The process may take a few minutes, depending on the quality you set and your photos size - please wait patiently.
  6. When the wizard completes the process the panoramic image will appear on the editor screen.
  7. You can select the following on the editor screen:
    • Save panoramic image.
    • Print panoramic image.
    • Edit and enhance the panoramic image.
    • Create a new panoramic image.
