Adjusting Toolbar Description

The adjusting toolbar is located at the bottom of the window and contains the following options:

The Noise removal strength slider helps adjust program filters intensity.

The Remove color noise checkbox enables / disables the despeckle function, removing specks, spots and blemishes often seen in dark areas of the image.

The Sharpening filter allows you to increase the overall sharpness of the image. Three degrees of sharpening (Weak, Medium and Strong) are available.

The Color enhancement drop-down box lets you select from three color correction types:
  • Autolevels - adjusts image colors and brightness to correct both color cast and poor contrast.
  • Autocontrast - adjusts highlights and shadows to fix poor image contrast.
  • Fix dark corners - solves the "dark corners" problem caused by poor optical quality.
If you select the Fix dark corners operation, the program lets you set the filter intensity using the Corners correction strength slider.

Note:

Once you load an image into the program, it immediately starts processing your image using the settings you selected last. If you run the program for the first time, the program uses the default parameter values believed to be optimal for most cases. You can always return to the default settings using the Default button.

You can cancel processing clicking the Stop Process button. While an image is being processed, all other options remain inactive.
