Teacher's Password

The teacher's password is required to get into any of the Teachers Only! sections of the software. The first time you run BookReporter the password is blank. In order to change the password go to the Teachers Only! Menu and select Change Teacher Password. Once you have entered the current password (or nothing if you have never changed the password before), type in the new password of your choice into both the Password and Verify Password sections of the window. Select Enter and you have changed the teacher password.

Students' Passwords

Student passwords can be required for students to edit or change their book reports. You can choose to have the student password feature enabled or disabled. When the student password feature is disabled, only the students name is required when entering or changing a report.

To add or edit students' passwords

1. Press the Add Button
2. Enter in the data in the Last Name, First name, and Password sections
3. Press the Save Button

You can choose to not use the student password feature by checking the Activate Student Passwords Checkbox.
