Typing Test Mode Settings Window

Welcome to the typing test mode! Here you can type practice and test typing at any TXT file. There are two tabs at the left. "Lessons and Tests" allows you to quick select one of the base exercises - 21 lessons or 4 special tests. "Built-in Library" gives you access to all *.txt files from MaxType\library\eng\ folder.

As a training application you can choose one of the files of the in-built library (folder library\eng). If you choose a file form any other directory, it will be copied to the folder library\eng\new\. This is done for the purpose of connecting the record file (*.mtr ) with the text file.

Besides that, you have an opportunity to create your own TXT file for the exercise - just click on the tab "Create TXT file" and input the text and file name. Press the button with a picture of a floppy to choose the newly-created file, activate the tab "Open TXT file". The button "Start" activates typing test.
