Frequently Asked Questions - direct mailer

  1. How to get around the "port 25 block"?
direct mailer supports Socks proxy protocol, which can get around the block and send out e-mails via proxies.

  2. What meaning is a connection?
The more connections, the more e-mail messages will be sent out at the same time. When you put 500 connections, it is the same thing as 500 computers sending e-mails. By increasing the number of connections you increase the network traffic too. It is recommended to use 50..100 connections for 56k Internet connection, or 100..500 connections for faster Internet connection.

  3. Will the sending of e-mails be safe concerning my ISP or other mail servers?
Generally, direct mailer tries to probe the targeted mail server bypassing ISP services. Its flexibility causes the safe sending action. But it's recommended to deliver less than 10000 emails with one mail server in a period of time. Currently, you can use Socks4/5 proxy to hide your local IP-address during mailing.
