How to create a new rule?

Go to Outlook's Tools\Options menu and choose the "Auto BCC" tab.

Click the "New rule" button on the top toolbar or right click and choose the "New rule" item of the popup menu. In the "Rule properties" dialog box select the rule settings you need:

To create CC and/or BCC for each outgoing message:
  • check the "All outgoing e-mail" checkbox;
  • make a CC and/or BCC recipients list;
  • press the OK button.

    To add a new item to the CC/BCC recipients list click on the CC/BCC button and select contacts you need. If your address book is empty, you may enter your contacts directly into the corresponding list box.

    To create CC and/or BCC for selected messages:
  • create a rule using from one to four conditions;
  • validate the new rule via the Validate button;
  • if the rule is correct, press the OK button.

    Use the following conditions to select the outgoing messages
  • If Account is - here select an e-mail account you need from the drop down list;
  • If subject line contains - enter the substring you need;
  • If attachment name contains - enter the substring you need;
  • If To: contains - enter the substring you need.

      Close MS Outlook instance.
      Run outlook-auto-bcc.exe and follow instructions.
      Restart Outlook and go to Outlook menu Tools/Options and choose Auto BCC tab to see the tool running.

      Close MS Outlook instance.
      Open Add/Remove programs in Control Panel.
      Click Change or Remove Programs, and then click Outlook Auto BCC. Click Change/Remove to remove the program.

    4. How to enable or disable the rule?
      Go to the Outlook menu Tools/Options.
      Choose the Auto BCC tab.
      Select the rule you need.
      Press the "Disable rule / Enable rule" button on the top toolbar.
