Import email addresses

PC iMail allows you to copy addresses from an Outlook or Personal address book, and then paste them into the Addresses list.
  1. Open your address book from within Outlook or Outlook Express.

  2. Select the address you wish to import (use the Ctrl or Shift key to select multiple addresses).

  3. Select Copy from the Edit menu.

  4. Switch to PC iMail and right-click on the Addresses list (lower left window).

  5. Select Paste from the pop-up menu.

Only addresses in standard SMTP format (name@company.com) will be imported. Other address types such as X400 and FAX will not be imported.

Frequently Asked Questions - Advanced Email Verifier

  1. How to add email addresses?
Select Add Addresses from the Tools menu.
Each address should be in the standard email format of username@domain.com, where name is the recipient’s email name and domain is their Internet service provider.
For example, an AOL email address would look like netpro@aol.com, and a university student’s address would look like student@university.edu.

  2. How to delete email addresses?
Select Delete Addresses from the Tools menu.
You can also click the Delete toolbar button or press Del on your keyboard. To select multiple addresses, hold the Ctrl key down while selecting or hold the Shift key down to select a range of addresses.

  3. How to filter specific address types?
Select Filter from the View menu.
Enter a domain or portion of text you don't want to see listed in your email list. Don't worry about capitalization or query keywords; PC iMail will remove all addresses that contain the text you specify.

  4. How to find email addresses?
Select Find from the Edit menu.
Enter the search text. PC iMail will scroll the email list to the first matching address. To find the next occurrence press the F3 key or select Find Next from the Edit menu.

  5. How to show only specified address types?
Select Show Only from the View menu.
Enter the domain or portion of text you would like to see listed in your email list. Don't worry about capitalization or query keywords; PC iMail will show only addresses that contain the text you specify.

  6. How to add Signature?
Select Signature from the Insert menu.
A signature adds a personalized touch to your message. It’s inserted at the end of your message and usually includes your name, web site address, email address, company slogan, or some brief words of wisdom. A good rule of thumb is to limit your signature to 4 lines of text or less.
