To backup some files or folders, you need to create a Backup item. Press the "New Item" button on the program toolbar to initiate New Item Wizard. Choose a name for the new item and select "Backup item" as its type.

At this step, you select a destination folder where backup copies of your files will be stored. You can choose to backup to a local drive/LAN, an FTP server, or a CDRW device.
