Office Password Recovery v2.0 - User Guide and FAQ

Screenshots - More Details

Personal Folders password

When a password for opening is set, all users must enter that password before they are allowed to access the business and private e-mail correspondence.

If you encounter the enter password dialog (see below) when opening the Personal Folder in Microsoft Outlook, it means that the file is password-protected.

Outlook Password Recovery recovers such passwords immediately.

To set, modify or remove a known (or recovered) password for opening:
  • Click "Data File Management..." in the "File" menu.
  • Select a Personal Folder file. Click "Settings..." and then click "Change Password...".
  • Type a password in the Password box.
  • Type your password again in the "Verify Password" box, and then click "OK".
  • To remove the password, leave the Password box empty.
Selecting attack profile

The last step of the planning process is selection of the attack profile.
  • Do not use attack profile
If you select this item, only the information entered on the "Enter and edit masks" page will be checked. After this, the attack process will stop. Select this option if you are sure that your data is correct or if you want to perform a quick test.
  • Automatic attack profile
The most suitable attack profile will be generated. All information you provide will be included. A mask search will be used first. If the password is not found, the attack will continue using the built-in profile. Automatic profile use is recommended if you don't know which approach is the best to attack this file.
  • Select attack profile
Select the attack profile you want. All information you provide will be automatically added to the selected profile. You can create a new profile by invoking the "Profile Manager".
