  2. Q: Where do I enter my registration details?
A: Right click on Active Desktop Calendar's icon in the system tray, choose Notes View, then choose Register option from the Help menu, type in your name and registration code and click Register. When typing the code, be sure to type all 17 symbols without mistakes.

  3. Q: I lost everything when my computer crashed including the order confirmation message and the registration code for the program. Can you help?
A: Send us the email address used for ordering and the name of the person who paid for the program and we will search our records.

  4. Q: Can this program synchronize with Outlook automatically?
A: Yes, starting with version 5.6 Active Desktop Calendar can read and show appointments and tasks from Outlook.

  5. Q: Somehow I got multiple calendars on my desktop, a mix of old and new data, what should I do now?
A: You can try the following. Go to Control Panel "C Display" C Background, set background picture to None and click Apply. The program should update the desktop automatically in a short while. If everything ends up ok, you can go back and set your usual wallpaper.

  6. Q: I connected to a data layer on another computer, I can see data from it, but can not change anything, did I miss something?
A: Nothing is wrong because the system of data sharing works exactly like that, connected layers are read-only so just the owner can make data changes in them.

  7. Q: I want only notes that come in the next seven days displaying on my desktop, how can I realize that?
A: Right click on the program's icon in the system tray, choose Settings, set "Display notes for next XX days" parameter to 7 and click Apply.

  8. Q: I keep getting "The procedure entry point" error message when trying to run Active Desktop Calendar on my Windows NT. Why did that happen?
A: The version of Internet Explorer has to be 4.0 (or later) and it also has to be installed with active desktop functionality (so even if you have the latest version of IE, it may happen that it was installed only with the basic set of options without active desktop).
