Step One : Select the target disk

(If you plug a new drive or unplug a drive, please click "Scan for hardware changes" to refresh the disk list.)

Step two : Input password



Step three : Click the "Encrypt" or "Decrypt" button .

For more security, click the check box "Encrypt the Data Area" (It will take a few minutes to encrypt the data area).

Important notice :

1. After the encryption, the target disk drive become unrecognized and inaccessible. If you want to access the disk, system will display a message "The disk is not formatted !" .



2. Please be sure that all data are saved to the disk before you click the "encrypt" button .

3. Remember your password as possible as you can . The encryption Algorithm is 256 bits . It's high security level . If you lost your password, we have no way to recover it .

4. For Windows NT/2000/XP user, you must log on as a member of administrators group to run FlashDrive Crypto.
