Frequently Asked Questions - ImToo DVD to 3GP Converter

  1. After i load my DVD into the program,I can only see the titles of it, How can I see the chapters in each titles of the DVD?
Please click the button between "Title" and the red one, "Start Ripping". It will show or hide the chapters of your DVD.

  2. After the conversion is done, I found that it is not in the correct audio track I want. What I want is French, but I get English. How to correct it?
In the "Audio" box, all the audio tracks can be found. Please select the one you want before you start ripping.

  3. How can I modify the settings on the right panel of the interface for my conversion job? Should I just use the values which the program has offered or should I enter a number which I want directly? But after I click "Start Ripping", all the options I modified will return to the default ones. Why?
Before you modify anything, you must highlight the item of your DVD, chapter or title which you want to rip in the program. Besides the values we have offered, you can simply enter a number you want for the conversion for most output formats, such as video and audio bit rate, frame rate, and video size, etc. But sometimes, it would be limited by output format as well as some other conditions.

  4. After I make some proper modifications on settings, is it possible to save it as a single profile so that I can use it directly each time?
It can be done by the "Save As" button. After you finish the modifications, please click this button and finish other jobs following instructions. After the profile is created, you can delete or re-name it as you like.

  5. I just want a clip/segment of my DVD. Is it possible?
Yes. You need set "Start Time" and "Duration" to get the clip you want. First of all, you should highlight the tile of your DVD, which includes the main episodes of the movie. And then enter correct values for "Start Time" and "Duration", which can be found on the right panel of the interface. For example, if you want a 3-minute-clip from the 10 minutes of the whole movie, please enter "00:10:00" for "Start Time" and "00:03:00" for "Duration".

  6. After the conversion is done, I click "Open" to find the output files. But I get a sub-folder named in the Album of my DVD and the output files are in it. Is it possible to avoid it? I just want to find my output files directly in the output folder I set.
If you do not like it, please open "Settings-Preference". In the "General" card, please cancel the options for "Create chapter folder in the output folder" and "Create album folder in the output folder". After that, you will be able to find the output files directly in the output folder.

  7. My DVD has been ripped into 3GP format. But I do not think the video image is clear enough. Can I improve it by certain settings?

  8. The default settings which we offered for 3GP output are requested by most of mobile phones. If you want to get better quality, please select "mpeg4" as video codec instead of "h.263", as well as setting a larger number for video bit rate and video size. They will produce a file with better quality but you must be sure that those settings can be supported by your phone.

  9. After the conversion to certain audio formats is done, I found that the output audio files always skips. It means there are always some short breaks during playback. How to correct it?

  10. Maybe you have set a smaller value for audio bit rate. Please try a larger one for it. Generally speaking, the default value we offered can assure a good result. And also, is it possible to select another audio track for the conversion job?
