  1. What is the current version of Movie Jack?
    You find the current version under www.moviejack.org.

  2. Using MovieJack I receive always the message \"medium can't be copied\". Why? What does this mean?
    Since 2003 there is a new German copyright law in Germany. The result is that it's not possible to copy protected Video-DVDs with the current versions of Movie Jack.

  3. I have download MovieJack 4, but my key of MovieJack 3 is not working anymore.
    The keys are always working only for one special version. If you have bought version 4, you will received free updates for all versions within version 4...

  4. Can I work with my PC while converting with MovieJack?
    Yes, generally no problem. But MovieJack needs a lot of CPU time, so your system will slow down a bit...

  5. The original movies contains Dolby Digital 5.1. Why can't I use it with my (S)VCD?
    Well, (S)VCDs contrain always only stereo sound. It#s impossible to store the seperate sound tracks of Dolby Digital 5.1. in thos format...

  6. My demo version is outdated. I have re-installed the software but can't use the software anymore.
    The demo version is limited to 14 days. If you like to use the software after this time period, please buy MovieJack...

  7. I have a very fast system. Why is it so time consuming to convert a movie?
    Video encoding is a very complex thing. But with modern devices (not older than one year), conversion or encoding can be done nornally in real time.

  8. What is a X(S)VCD?
    Using the X(S) VCD Format it's possible to set the upper and the lower limit of the video bit rate. So it's possible to have influence on the size and quality does the MPEG file. The only problem is that it's not 100% compatible with all DVD Player.
