Output Settings
  • Destination: If you select "Burn to DVD Disc" option, all video content will be burned into DVD disc and stored in output folder; if you select "DVD-Video Folder on Hard Disk", Allok AVI DivX MPEG to DVD Converter will not burn DVD disc, but only convert the source videos to DVD-Video Folder, and saved it in output folder, so you may burn it later by using other tools like Nero.What is DVD-Video Folder, please click here.
  • Output Folder: Allok AVI DivX MPEG to DVD Converter will save the target DVD-Video Folder and the temporary files on this folder.So, you have to make sure that there is enough free disk space in your hard disc. Generally speaking , to create a 4.2G DVD you need 8.4 G free disk space. When all the jobs are finished ,the software will delete the temporary files directly by itself, but you have to delete the DVD-Video Folder by yourself.
Video Settings
  • Output Quality: Higher video quality means a larger file size, so you need to balance the tradeoff between file size and quality.With the lowest DVD quality, you even can burn 7 hours movies to one DVD disc.
  • TV Type: If you're in North America, Japan, Korea, the Philippines and parts of South America, you use NTSC. Most other areas of the world use PAL .
  • Aspect Ratio: It means the ratio between the width of the picture and the height of the picture. Normal TV's aspect ratio is 4:3 (1.33:1), HDTV's aspect ratio is 16:9 (1.85:1)
  • Add letterbox to keep aspect ratio:Letterbox refers to the image of a wide-screen picture on a standard 4:3 aspect ratio television screen, typically with black bars above and below.If you want to keep the original video aspect ratio, check it, otherwise uncheck it.
  • Auto split DVD chapter:you can choose whether split DVD chapter,and you can choose the split chapter time.
Audio Settings
  • Audio Codec:For NTSC only AC3/PCM is DVD compliant. MP2 is also compliant if you are making a PAL disc. So from a standards viewpoint, mp2 isn't the best for NTSC DVDs.
  • Volume: If the output DVD volume is too low, please give it some gain.
Other Settings
  • Eject the DVD disc when burning finished:Eject the DVD disc when burning finished.
  • Automatically shutdown the computer when mission finished: Shutdown computer when mission accomplished.
