Q1. When I trying to convert VOB to AVI/DIVX/VCD Format but failed. Why?
A: If you want to back whole DVD to avi/dvix/vcd formats .We suggest you try GoGo DVD to avi/vcd/svcd ripper -- It is the best.

Q2. When I try to convert AVI to VCD I get mpeg format. Why?
A: The mpeg file is the VCD compliant mpeg file. Then you need a VCD burner. We recommend NERO. Burn it with the option "To VCD". Follow the wizard.

How to burn VCD onto a CD-R/CD-RW with Nero 6 ?

Launch Nero. Please click Wizard button, Select CD
Select VideoCD icon
Select radio button PAL or NTSC depending what format your output VCD file, which is producted by the converter.
And click New button.
Locate your .mpg and drag it(see picture below). Remember that you can add several .mpgs also, each mpg will be a own track on the VCD and you can add data files also, just drag them to any folder.
Check the time. It should be the same as in the movie.
Rename the CD to anything you like by clicking F2 on NEW.
Select File->Write CD or click Open the write cd dialog... button.
Select Write speed, lower may work better if you get problem playing the VCD.
Select Disc at once and Finalize CD.
Select Disc-At-Once.
Mark the check box of Finalize CD.
Click Write button.

Q3. When I try to convert AVI to DVD I get mpeg format. But I want play with my home DVD player,Why?

A: Did you just copy the video file directly to CD? If so, it can't play on your player. For example in NERO, you should burn it with the option "To VCD".

Q7: How do I convert the video to DivX?
A: select "All to AVI" to begin converting. First please insure you have installed the codec (You can download it at http://download.divx.com). Then in the Edit Profile dialog, select DivX in the Video Compression Codec list, press the Done button to add the task to the list.

Q8: Which codec is better when dealing with AVI file?
A: Of course we recommend DivX, not only its fast speed but also the quality.

Q9. Could I convert WMV and/or MPEG to ASF so that I can stream it with a Windows Media Server?
A: There is no need to convert WMV to ASF. Windows Media Server supports WMV files perfectly. WMV is a more advanced format than ASF, and ASF is a previous version of WMV.

Q10. Could I convert avi mpeg vcd dvd format to Pocket PC formats?
A: It is easy ! just select All to WMV tab and select wmv profiles ,add your video files then click convert button.
