MPEG Encoder 7.0 Pro Author converts video files from one video format to another

Supported formats of video input files are:

MPEG-1, MPEG-2, WMV, AVI
Other video files, which Windows Media Player can play, may be supported.

MPEG Encoder 7.0 Pro Author generates any of the following output formats:

MPEG-1, MPEG-2, WMV, AVI
When selecting MPEG 1 or MPEG 2 formats, the following specifications must be maintained:

Video: data rate is between 256Kbit/Sec ~ 10Mbit/Sec,
Audio: data range of MPEG 1, Audio Layer 2, is between 128Kbit/Sec ~ 224Kbit/Sec.

When selecting WMV or AVI, output formats are determined according to the user's Windows operating system.

In order to use the full features of this program, the PC's operating system should have the following installed:

1. DirectShow 8.1 or higher version
2. Windows Media Player 6.4 or higher version
3. Windows Media Format 9 Series Runtime Library
