  1. Output Folder: Output folder is for storing the output video files, this folder is set as C:\Ultra3GPFolder\ by default.
  2. Output Format:
    • 3GP + AMR Format (*.3gp) -- Output 3gp file with AMR audio that could played with most cellular phones. But the audio quality is poor.
    • 3GP + AAC Format (*.3gp) -- Output 3gp files with AAC audio for general, recent cellular phone.
    • 3GP2 + AAC Format (*.3g2) -- Output 3g2 files with AAC audio for the cellular phone supporting REAL 3GPP2
    • MPEG-4 Video Format (*.mp4) -- Output mp4 files with AAC audio for the cellular phone supporting MP4 format.
    • AVI Video Format (*.avi) -- Output avi files with mp3 audio for the cellular phone or PDA supporting AVI format.
    • DivX Video Format (*.avi) -- Output Divx files with mp3 audio for the cellular phone or PDA supporting DivX format.
  3. Profiles : 9 sets of settings for different video and auio quality. If you change the selected item of it, it will configure almost all of the settings automatically, including Video Quality, Audio Quality, Audio channels.
    Notice: Higher video quality means a larger file size and lower conversion speed. so you need to balance the tradeoff between file size and quality.
  4. Video Codec : Choose mpeg4 xvid or h263 as recommendation.
  5. Resolution : Set the output video resolution (widht and height). In normal, keep 368x208 as default.
  6. Frame Rate : Set the output video frame rate.
    Defines how many pictures eg. frames one second of video or audio contains, normally used acronym for framerate is fps - frames per second.
  7. Channels : Set the output audio channels, it will impact the output file size.
  8. Sample Rate : Set the output audio sample rate, it will impact the output file size. It is fixed to 24000 MHZ.
    In developing an audio sound for computers or telecommunication, the sample rate is the number of samples of a sound that are taken per second to represent the event digitally.
    The more samples taken per second, the more accurate the digital representation of the sound can be. For example, the current sample rate for CD-quality audio is 44,100 samples per second. This sample rate can accurately reproduce the audio frequencies up to 20,500 hertz, covering the full range of human hearing.
  9. Volume : Drag the slider to set the volume of target file,100% means keeping original volume,200% maganify the volume in double times.
  10. Add Letterbox to keep aspect: If you want to keep the original video aspect ratio, check it, otherwise uncheck it.
    Movies, for instance, are almost always made in widescreen format. A widescreen movie needs to be displayed on a screen with different aspect ratio from the original film, the picture frame needs to be letterboxed.
    Letterboxing means adding black borders above and below the original frame.
  11. Shut Down computer when done : If you check this option, it will shutdown computer when conversion completed.
