Press Ctrl and Click on a CSS Property for Help
To get help on a specific CSS property, hold down the Ctrl key and move to mouse over the property. The property will turn into a hyperlink which will display help when clicked.

Hold F11 for a List of External Browsers
Pressing F11 shows a menu of your external browsers, providing a quick way to view your pages in different browsers. After this menu appears, simply press the number assigned to the desired external browser and TopStyle will open the current document in that browser.

Press F4 to Hide All Dockable Panels
While editing you may wish to hide all dockable panels (output, inspector, etc.), but you don't want to switch to a different layout in order to do so. Instead, just hit F4, and all dockable panels will be hidden. Then just hit F4 again when you're ready to re-display the panels that were hidden.

Frequently Asked Questions - TopStyle Pro

  1. When I try to edit a PHP, CFML, ASP or ASPX file in TopStyle, I get a message asking whether I want to download the file. How do I stop this?
TopStyle's preview uses an embedded copy of Internet Explorer, and since Internet Explorer doesn't understand server-side files such as PHP, CFML and ASP it will prompt you to download these files instead of displaying them. To prevent this, you need to pass the files through your local web server so that the server-side code is processed.

  2. Is it possible to undo once you haved saved the current document?
Yes. "Undo after save" is disabled by default, but can be enabled on the Editor page in TopStyle's options.

  3. I want to use a preview document that contains server-side scripting, such as ASP or ColdFusion. How do I do this?
In order to translate the server-side code, the document must first be passed through a local web server. In TopStyle, you do this by specifying a mapping. Go to the Options dialog (F8), then switch to the Mappings page and follow the instructions for setting up a mapping.
