Although several commercial versions are available, the "lite", or free, version has all the features most users could ever ask need, and it can play h264 and x264 encoded files that neither MPC nor Coreavc could decode, all the while using less CPU power thanks to its ability to use the GPU, which, by the way, works flawlessly with my Radeon HD4890.
