ProspectV Publisher Description

ProspectV is an image visualization and exploration tool which loads 2D images (BMP, TGA, PNG and JPG), and using the rendering ability of any 3D video card visualizes them in full screen, at full frame rate and in real-time, using panning, zooms and rotations, according to the camera instructions provided by a simple-text script. PV also supports music (OGG) and sound/speech (WAVE) on two separate channels.

The resulting video can be of unlimited length, and the size occupied on the disk by the presentation is little more than the size of the original images, since frames are not recorded but rendered in real-time, making it compact enough for email distribution. The multimedia features comprise script-based sound and music support, and looping playback for permanent kiosk-based installations.

ProspectV is an imaging technology which may be utilized in scientific research, remote sensing and image analysis, as well as in museum and arts presentation, digital photography, and any image-based content.
