NavTools Meteo is a small application for retrieving worldwide weather charts, satellite images, radar, and hurricane information from Internet.
NavTools Meteo uses ftp to download the raw data directly from major weather servers, resulting in a much faster and more efficient download than via your browser. If you do not have an online Internet connection (for instance most vessels while at sea) the software is able to create an email message, requesting the selected chart(s) via the free of charge NOAA ftpmail service. In this case, you will receive the requested file(s) within a few minutes as attachments to a return mail. If your email is MAPI compliant (for instance Amos Mail) you can use the default MAPI driver to create the email messages, should this not work with your email, you can use the SMTP
