TinTin++ Publisher Description
TinTin++, aka tt++, is a free MUD client for Mac OS X, Linux, and Windows. The Windows port named WinTin++ (using the PuTTY derived mintty terminal) is available for those who do not use Cygwin (A Linux/Unix emulator for Windows) and runs on Windows Xp, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. Besides MUDs, TinTin++ also works well with MUSH, Rogue, BBS, and Linux servers.

...... TinTin++ also provides internal helpfiles which can be accessed with the #help command. Several MUD clients use the tt++ scripting language, so you might already be familiar with some of the commands from using another MUD client. For bug reports, questions, requests, and suggestions, you can visit the forum.
Installing the TinTin++ Mud Client
The TinTin++ source code is available in the download section and compiles on most Linux/Unix systems as well as Mac OS X if you have the pcre and zlib libraries. Besides the source code there is a precompiled (tt++ executable) Linux and Mac OS X Universal binary available. The WinTin++ Windows port is available as an installer. While not truly multi-platform like Java MUD clients, it is possible to run the TinTin++ MUD client on a Mac OS X, Linux, or Unix shell account, giving you access to your scripts and client wherever you go.
