Detailed Description of Disk Defensor 2.0

A transparent(on-the-fly) disk/cd encryption system, which combin with AES 256-bit encryption. Disk Defensor can make a disk partition encrypted on the windows system or create some new virtual disks and cds. After encypted, all the operation for this encrypted disk is as the same as a normal disk, when read and write, the decryption and encryption engine is running at background and transparently. Disk Defensor doesn't allow you to read and write the right data on the disk partition until the disk is unlocked with the correct password.

Disk Defensor supports any kind of disk partition and Removable Storage as long as it can be recognized by the windows. For example, Hard Disk, USB Hard Disk, USB Flash Memory Disk, PCMCIA Hard Disk, PCMCIA Flash Card, Memory Stick, CF/MMC/SD/xD Memory Card, IDE Interface Memory Disk ON MODULE, etc.

Using the traditional disk encryption software, after the disk partition encrypted, all the data on this disk partition is inaccessible, you must decrypt the whole disk partition. Compared with these traditional disk encryption software, Working with Disk Defensor, you can using this partition only by input a password, when you copy file in the disk partition and copy file from it, the encryption and the decryption is working transparently.
