yEnc32 Publisher Description
yEnc32 is a free, open-source Win32 yEnc utility. yEnc32 supports basic file yEncoding/yDecoding, with a friendly, easy-to-use interface. The yEnc format itself is a nice alternative to UUencode and Base64. yEncoded messages are up to 40% smaller than UUencoded/Base64 equivalents, and include built-in error checking and multipart file support. yEnc32 is released under the GNU General Public License.

* Decoder no longer claims that files without a CRC32 value are corrupt.
* Files with no =yend line are now marked as corrupt.
* Encoder no longer includes a blank line prior to the =yend line under any circumstances. (While this was technically not valid according to the yEnc spec, it caused problems in other buggy newsreaders.)
* Fixed bug in which very small (16-byte or less) files would be encoded incorrectly.
* Added support for zero-byte files
