...... did exactly what I needed when I was testing php scripts while I was developing them. What I wanted was a simple WAMP server that had Apache, MySQL and PHP, nothing more, nothing less. With those three pieces of software, I had just enough to be able to thoroughly test my scripts.

That's what WindowsWAMP is. It's a unique program that lets me run Apache and MySQL and PHP on my Windows computer, but in a way that makes it easy to use. Not like the other programs where you have to start and stop services whenever you need to get things working.

With WindowsWAMP, all you need to do is double-click the program, and it starts everything you need. And when you're finished, all you do is shut it down like a normal Windows program. You don't need to worry about anything else. WindowsWAMP does all the hard work for you!

WindowsWAMP has Apache, MySQL and PHP. PHP has all the most common extensions enabled, like GD2, MySQLi, SQLite, cURL, ftp support, xmlrpc, and many others. ......
