I accidentally re-partitioned my Lacie Drive, downloaded this software as a trial and it strongly suggested it could recover all the content which was on my drive (mostly quicktime movie files which i was editing with) However, after paying $100 for the full program after nearly a week of trying, all I could reclaim was about 30% of the content. Files would save to my HD as zero bytes, or would crash the system during saving causing me to have to re-start and re-scan my drive all over again, very tiresome and frustrating. When I pay $100 for a very simple piece of software, I expect it to work, or be able to get a refund. I was able to achieve neither. My advice, stay clear of this Piece of Shit Software! AppleXsoft File Recovery for Mac 2.0 Reviewed by deesign on Oct 14, 2009  this program stinks. Pulls up every single deleted file since you started using your hard drvie!! There are no preview icons of the file and the files are named by numbers only!!! You have no clue what you are looking at without opening every single one and we are talking thousands of files. i did try opeingone file and it couldn't be opened. NO PHONE SUPPORT! buyer beware! I am an IT professional, and after my purchase, I had some issues with billing, and some other questions. After sending several email requests, I never got one single response. There is NO phone contact # on the site either (Which is normally your first clue to NOT do business with a company). My emails were articulate, accurate, and included no angry tone at all, until the last one I sent, advising them that I am going to warn any other consumers before they make the same mistake.
