Listary Publisher Description

Listary is an excellent find-as-you-type search utility that helps find items in large lists of Win apps like Explorer, Desktop, Reg Editor etc. and many third-party ones. Much more efficient than Win search, it allows you to type any part of the item name. Items are highlighted in real time as you type and you can swiftly zero in on them. It also packs in several features like wildcards (*, ?), hotkey, autocomplete, regular expressions and more.

...... Great utility, but it has several limitations: You need to know the exact words, you need to type fast to beat the time-out, and in case of typos you need to start all over again. The more capable search option is the one that pops up on hitting F3. But it is a cumbersome process: select type of item, enter the search string and sift through results that slowly open in another window.

Conversely, Listary is a real-time search tool that highlights the items as you type. You don't even need to type the complete string as you're likely to spot your target earlier.

In addition to Win search features, Listary packs in several more advantages:

* No need to know exact order of words
* Instantaneous highlight of item being searched
* Nifty UI to customize size, position, color and opacity of the drop-down list as per convenience. Hitting Esc is all that is required to hide it.
* Supports innumerable apps like Win Explorer, WinZip, WinRAR, ......
