uEdit For Mac Publisher Description

uEdit for Mac is a simple plain text editor with usefull features. With uEdit you can: Insert or mainupulate text-parts created by text files or applescripts in your plain text document with a click. Start a new document from templates. Debug html, applescript, perl and python code. You can export your text as Unicode text, Rich Text Files '.rtf' and as Microsoft Word '.doc' files. You can save your text in allmost every plain text type files.

Markers
Markers are points in the text to scroll to when selecting them in te markers box.

Markers are defined starting with '[marker' following with':marker name]', 'marker name' is shown in the markers box.
The box reads the markers in the content when showing the box pane, or when clicked on the refresh button.

If there are Markers defined in the document you opened, uEdit For Mac will automatically show the 'markers pane'.

Run
With the run button you compile the text file using a compiler, and view the result in the Results Panel or view it in a diferent way, for example: in the default Internet Browser.

When not a run action is not defined yet a menu pops up with run actions, after it is defined the menu will not pop up again.
If you want to re-define the Run action, right click the run button.

A run is a Plugin with the extension '.run', which means that they can be inserted and removed at the 'Info Panel' of uEdit in the Finder. ......
