Special Features

Unlike some other programs, AlgeBasics is able to accept alternative correct answers. For example, 1x+2y or x + 2y or 2y + 1x or 2y + x or 2y+x, etc will all be marked as correct for the standard answer x + 2y.

This feature is very important because it avoids confusing the student if a correct answer is marked as wrong.

It allows two players to compete with each other on one computer, reducing the number of computers required for a class by half. Each player can do the sums at his own pace.
It prints two separate detailed reports, each showing the sums done by the individual player.

Sums on algebraic fractions and indices are displayed in easy-to-read textbook style.
