What's new in AlgeBasics new version:

AlgeBasics fixes a bug that caused the incorrect display or printout of indices in certain algebraic expressions and improves on-screen display and printout.

Special Features

Unlike some other programs, AlgeBasics is able to accept alternative correct answers. For example, 1x+2y or x + 2y or 2y + 1x or 2y + x or 2y+x, etc will all be marked as correct for the standard answer x + 2y.

This feature is very important because it avoids confusing the student if a correct answer is marked as wrong.

It allows two players to compete with each other on one computer, reducing the number of computers required for a class by half. Each player can do the sums at his own pace.
It prints two separate detailed reports, each showing the sums done by the individual player.
