FourTidy Publisher Description

To tidy, sort, prune and dedup a JP Software.Take Command/TCC/4NT/4DOS hidden descript.ion file. These files are used by the DESCRIBE utility to track what your various files are for.Fourtidy will sort, tidy, and prune duplicates in the descript.ion file. It will also create a non-hidden file called _O_V_E_R_V_I_E_W.txt with the information about all your files in the directory in aligned human readable form.

If you have Excelsior Jet,
(mindprod.com/jgloss/jet.html/) you can compile the
jar and simplify that long-winded command to:

fourtidy.exe

To save typing, create a *.BAT file on the path containing the command.
You might also want to hide/reveal the descript.ion file with:
attrib +h descript.ion
attrib -h descript.ion

Fourtidy will sort, tidy, and prune duplicates in the
descript.ion file. It will also create a non-hidden file
called _O_V_E_R_V_I_E_W.txt with the information about all your files
in the directory in aligned human readable form.
