The user interface has been redesigned for even more ease of use, and the program has undergone extensive internal changes to improve the output quality even more while delivering even faster ripping speeds than its predecessor. With MovieJack, you can handle all necessary steps to create your own DVD-Video backup copy under one user interface - all with as little user interaction as possible. This means: the most complicated working steps are executed in the background. Elaborated reading routines access the video material of a DVD (including the audio track) directly via the data bus of the DVD-ROM drive and save it to your harddisk, readily converted into your favorite target format. During the conversion process, the original material will be converted On the Fly (directly from the DVD to the hard drive) from the original and extensive DVD video format into Video CD, Super Video CD or MPEG-4-compatible audio and video material. The video file generated by MovieJack is higher compressed than the extensive original data and will be used by the program to create the desired CD. Key Features:
MovieJack provides two-installation type - complete and custom. Use custom option, you can choose which application features you want installed and where they will be installed. Recommended for advanced users. The setting has been divided into several steps; you can configure them step-by-step. When all are finished, MovieJack will show a list about the configuration you select. MovieJack rips the entire contents of a PAL or NTSC-DVD, so it doesn't support ripping chapter by chapter.
