Media Finder for iTunes is used to easily find lost audio and video files on your computer and add to iTunes. Media Finder for iTunes can exclude media files that are already in your iTunes Music Library as well as drives and directories.

Media Finder for iTunes can scan any of your hard drives, all of your hard drives or just specific folders that you select. You can also add exclusions if you want to exclude a drive or directory from the scan. Built-in audio and video player are provided. You can select another audio or video player or use iTunes if you desire.

Main Features of Media Finder for iTunes:

* The media found is grouped into Audio, Video and All tab panes. Any of the found media files can be played before adding to iTunes if you are not sure you want to add the media.
* By default, all media files not current in your iTunes Music Library are found and displayed. You can use Preferences to include all found media files if you desire.
* The search filter is used to filter the display based on an input search text filter. e.g. if Beatles is entered, only entries for the Beatles will be displayed. Enter a blank/empty filter will display all the Find Media results.
* Displays the list of supported audio or video file extensions (comma-delimited). You can edit the list, add to it or replace with you own extensions. Use the check boxes to select just the desired extensions to use.
* Preferences settings allow you to specify the audio and video file extensions to scan for. You can also decide to use none, any or all of the extensions.
* You can set a minimum audio and video file size. e.g. include only audio files >= 3MB and video files >= 100 MB.
* A pattern can also be specified if you are looking for example files beginning with a (e.g. a*).
