AD Self Service provides a SharePoint active directory web part that allow current login user to see and modify his/her own Active Directory information through SharePoint. You can add this web part to a page, on which you want users to edit their AD information, and configure it properly. After that, when a user log in and enter this page, the SharePoint AD Self Service web part will automatically detect current login user and domain, then retrieve his/her information from Active Directory to SharePoint and show them in this SharePoint active directory web part. If the properties are editable, user can edit it, and click "Save" button to save his changes to AD, then a message about this operation will be shown.
