Detailed Description of Chart Gantt Basic 2.2

Chart gantt basic looks deceptively simple, however the architecture of this product took us over 2 months of coding to construct.

Chart Gantt Basic is designed to be as simple to use as possible. Chart Gantt Basic provides the core visualisation functionality required to create a Gantt Chart and manage a project.

To plan your project, simply enter your task start date and the duration in either workdays or days. Developing this functionality was more challenging than it should have been due to the inability of the standard Microsoft workday function to handle partial days. Rather than scheduling these partial days, the standard function simply ignores them! It took us 3 days of coding to resolve this issue.

The simplicity of this tool gives you the freedom to plan exactly how you would like to. If you don't want to enter the days duration, but would rather use an end date, then simply type over the formula in the end date column.

You may choose to build your own additions to the Chart Gantt templates, in fact they are designed to handle this purpose. Add calculations in another worksheet, insert columns to plan in hours and convert to days. Your ability to customise this simple template is limited only by your imagination
