Frequently Asked Questions - Glory Zone

1. When I start Glory Zone, nothing except the function keys works?
   Try to run the game with joystick disabled.
   
   
2. I can't get it work in 16 (or 32) bits in windowed mode.
   In windowed mode game can be started only with color depth that your desktop is set to. Change desktop settings if you want to play Glory Zone in windowed mode with different color depth.
   
   
3. I can't get it work in 1024x768 windowed mode, and my desktop is set to 1024x768.
   1024x768 means that game display is exactly 1024x768 pixels big. Actual window size in windowed mode is bigger because of window title and borders.
   
   Game can be played in windowed mode only if complete window fits into the screen!
   
   If your desktop is set to 1024x768 you can start Glory Zone in 640x480 and 800x600 windowed mode.
   If your desktop is set to 800x600 you can start Glory Zone in 640x480 windowed mode.
   If your desktop is set to 640x480 you can start Glory Zone only in fullscreen modes.
   
   
   
4. Why MP3 player skip some of the songs I put in the playlist?
   There are several reasons for that:
   - mp3 player couldn't recognize the format of the song
   - song is either removed or moved to some other directory after it has been put into playlist
   - song is on a removable drive or on a CD, and they are not inserted
   - mp3 player can't open the song for some other reason
   Check out that song paths are correct!
   
   
5. Game is incredibly slow! What should I do?
   If it's so slow that even navigating menus is hard than it has probably ended up in software rendering mode. Press F12 (fast exit to system), and try to run the game with different game display settings.
   
   If you can't get it to work with hardware acceleration in any mode you should check that you have properly installed OpenGL driver.
   
   Try to find the latest display drivers for your 3D card. You will most likely find them at your card's manufacturer website. If you have Windows95/98, you could also try to install appropriate display drivers with GLSetup.
