    Qweas News - Microsoft Vista

    According to a latest survey, only 8% CIO has the intension to bring in Microsoft new system Vista in 2007. The survey released by Merrill Lynch (MER) last Friday demonstrated that 8% of CIO showed their interest of employing Microsoft new system Vista in 2007, while 75% CIO kept a wait-and-see attitude.

    Among enterprises users that have singed authorization license agreement with Microsoft, only 56% say they will continue to sign the contract this year, while it was 60% in a January survey.

    At the same time, 58% CIO show that they will intensify investment on Linux and the first two preferred Linux manufactures are Redhat and Novell. 14% CIO say they will consider using Oracle's products if it enters Linux field. 61% CIO optimistically think Oracle should enter this market.
