How to convert QT MOV to DivX with Fx MPEG Writer step by step?

If you own the QuickTime movie codec and want to share your movie with others who do not, you can easily convert the format to the DivX MPEG-4 format.

Step2. If the file extension of your source is not MOV or QT rename it to use one of those extensions so that Fx MPEG Writer will recognize the format.

Step3.Load the source movie as your Movie in: It may take some time for the program to read your source file and display the first frame in the preview window. Load speed is resource dependent.

If you get an Unsupported File Type message it means that you don't have a read/write version of the appropriate QuickTime codec.

Step4.Set the Target movie path with the extension as AVI.
